Welcome to my website. This is where you can find my collected articles, either published or unpublished, my short stories (all works in progress) and information for people interested in my freelance writing, editing and research services. You can also find my blog which I update regularly – I write about many different things, both personal and that have wider interest. I write about the writing life, how to find inspiration, deafness, feminism, fashion and body acceptance, books, films, theatre, art and DIY culture. I don’t promise to stick solely to those topics, however, as I’m a person of many interests!

I have a BA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of York, and an MA in Women’s Studies (Humanities), also from the University of York. I also have a diploma in Literature and Creative Writing from The Open University. I volunteer at two charities as a writer and general volunteer. I also review for Remotegoat.com and have published book reviews.  I have three blogs, and have been blogging for seven years.

I live in North London, with my partner of 11 years, a cat called Flossie and a mound of books.
